FG Cryogenic Adhesive

FG Cryogenic adhesive is developed by high-temperature reaction from asphalt, organic solvent, polymer resin and plasticizer. It has strong bonding strength, excellent anti-freezing property, applied as binder in cryogenic condition for cellular glass, PIR-polyisocyanurate and  PUF, after moulding it remains excellent flexibility and bonding strength in cryogenic temperature even temperature cycling.

Product Application

It is used as butt joint binder for insulation materials, such as cellular glass, PUF and PIR, preventing insualtion structure from water vapor penetration damaging of insualtion system via butt joints. It supplies a special "buttery" consistency after melt, which facilitates application to insulation surfaces evenly without extra pressure. 


Packing and Storage

Packed in woven bags, 25kg/bag;

Store in indoor condition and protect from light.


Application and Cautions

① Apply to clean, dry and oil-free surface only.

②Heat it to 180°C~200°C, apply the melting product on the surface of insulation material with trowel or equipment. Press insulation material on to the pipe/equipment when the adhesive is hot. After cooling down, scratch off the excess adhesive squeezed out from the joint/gap. Apply adhesive smoothly and evenly onto the surface and make sure there is no gap after bonding.<< p="">

③Melt adhesive according to use, strictly control the heating time and temperature. The smoke color can help estimate the temperature: yellow smoke means it is closed to flash poin

④Wear PPE during operation.
